About

Engineer first, founder because it was faster.

I am Yasin Ergün — a software architect in Tallinn who has spent sixteen years building products for Europe, most of them with my own hands.

I started in PHP and Ruby on servers I kept alive myself, and never stopped caring about the part after launch. That habit turned into DevOps, then security, then the edge: today most of what I build is serverless and needs no servers at all.

The products came from problems I kept seeing. Travellers overpaying for data became Simtegre. Cafés paying monthly for a link page became Bentap. Sensors that phone home with everything became Estegre. Trackers without a product became Navibil.

BILPP OÜ is the company behind all of it, and where I take on client work: companies in Germany, the Nordics and Türkiye who want software built by someone who has run products, not just delivered them.

What I optimise for

  1. 01

    Ship, then learn

A real URL beats a roadmap. Weekly releases, always demoable.

  2. 02

    Boring where it counts

Proven stacks, few dependencies, no server to babysit when it can be avoided.

  3. 03

    Whole product

Backend, app, ops, analytics and the email that goes out — one head holds the whole picture.

  4. 04

    Multilingual by default

Products for Europe speak more than English. Every site I build ships in five languages or more.

03 Timeline

Sixteen years, five companies.
